These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the FirstCare Africa platform, mobile application, telemedicine features, medical equipment marketplace, outbreak surveillance network, and related healthcare services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Introduction
FirstCare Africa ("we", "our", or "us") provides a unified digital healthcare ecosystem offering 24/7 telemedicine subscriptions, primary care consultation passes, medical equipment procurement and financing, disease outbreak reporting, and clinical decision support across Africa.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or possess legal parental/guardian consent to create an account or request healthcare services. By using our platform, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements.
3. Healthcare Services & Telemedicine Disclaimer
- Telemedicine consultations provided through FirstCare Africa are intended to supplement, not replace, emergency medical services. In the event of a life-threatening medical emergency, please contact your local emergency response immediately.
- Physicians and healthcare specialists consulting through FirstCare Africa operate as licensed independent professionals adhering to medical standards.
- FirstCare+ healthcare subscriptions cover virtual consultations, primary diagnostic checks, and emergency dispatch guidance as detailed in your subscription plan.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
- FirstCare+ subscription plans automatically renew on a monthly or annual basis unless cancelled prior to the renewal date.
- Payments processed through Byte partner bank accounts, Mobile Money (MoMo), credit/debit cards, or cryptocurrency are final upon confirmation.
- All prices are displayed in NGN or your local currency where applicable based on geographic detection.
5. Medical Equipment Procurement & Financing
- Medical equipment purchases and financing applications are subject to verification and credit approval.
- Equipment descriptions, specs, and financing rates are subject to updates. Warranty coverage is provided according to manufacturer terms.
6. Disease Outbreak Surveillance & Rewards
Users participating in public health outbreak surveillance agree to provide accurate, truthful, and verified information. Submitting false reports or spam is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination.
7. User Conduct & Security
You agree not to misuse the FirstCare Africa platform. Prohibited activities include submitting fraudulent medical requests, attempting unauthorized access to patient data, or violating healthcare regulations.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, code, logos, clinical decision-support algorithms, and media on FirstCare Africa are the exclusive property of FirstCare Africa and protected by international intellectual property laws.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FirstCare Africa shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from platform usage or service interruptions.
